Beyond the Code

Track Privacy Policy

Effective September 17, 2026. This policy describes the Track iPhone app.

Your workouts belong to you

Track is a native iPhone workout timer published by Murea Vlad-George Persoană Fizică Autorizată, trading as Beyond the Code. Track has no account, advertising, analytics SDK, tracking, backend or cloud synchronization service. We do not receive your workouts, exercise names, session history, cue settings or Apple Health records.

Information stored on your iPhone

Track stores your saved workouts, preferences, session history and unfinished-session state locally. It also creates local audio files for workout cues. Normal iOS device backups may include app data according to your Apple settings. Track does not operate a separate cloud backup or synchronization service.

Optional Apple Health saving

If you enable Save workouts to Health, Track asks for permission to write completed workouts. Records include activity type, actual active duration, start and end times, pause/resume events and identifiers used to avoid duplicate saves. Track does not request access to read your Health measurements and does not create calorie, heart-rate or location samples. Health saving is optional; the timer works when permission is denied. Health data is handled by Apple Health under your device and account settings.

Audio and notifications

Track uses Apple’s on-device speech and audio tools for workout cues. Exercise names are not sent to a developer-operated service. If you allow notifications, workout reminders are scheduled locally. Delivery depends on iOS notification and Focus settings. Track does not access your microphone, contacts, camera or location.

Your choices and retention

You can edit or delete saved workouts in the Library and disable Health saving in Track Settings. Remove the app to delete its local app data; backups are managed separately in your Apple settings. Previously saved workouts in Apple Health remain there until you remove them in Health. You can review or revoke Track’s Health permissions in the Health app. Track cannot retrieve data after you delete it.
